Thank you so much! I have spent a lot of effort to make my next project more efficient, making it even better for weaker PCs, so your comment gives me hope it will be worthwhile.
It took almost 2 years, but after finding out how to fiddle with the setups, I made a 1.05.163 at Test Circuit on the Inari CA2. That's 1.999 seconds better than Kimvumpalu's last lap record done with the default setup! We thought that would've been impossible to beat ;) I know that a faster lap, probably under a 1.04 is totally possible, so we'll keep on trying!
I can't wait to show you what I've been dreaming up over those two years! There is so much left to do, but I won't give up. I want to make the best fleshed-out, polished, and optimized experience that I can, so that you can enjoy the next project for more years to come.
Thanks! I will write a new devlog this month, to at least check in. I have learned a lot, but I want to release a new playable demo before I post about incremental improvements.
I’m making Kimvumpalu a teamshirt of our mockup motorsports team for his birthday, but the printing company doesn’t print the shirt if I don’t have the rights for the logos.
Could you give us rights to use the logo on the shirt as a ”sponsor”? Attached is an image of what the shirt would look like.
My and Kimvumpalu’s 8th grade started last thursday. Sadly the 1.08.093 was the best I could do, as I didn’t have much time to play in the end of the summer.
But still, the first thing we did when we got our laptops back was to open GDSim! Such a wonderful sim you have made.
I actually just aquired myself a rookie licence in an Assetto Corsa racing league, hoping I could get better on my wheel.
I was wondering if you could explain the engine heat system for me. At first, me and Kimvumpalu thought that the meter showed the tire temperatures😅. But I have a few questions for you:

Edit: I said I would. Now I did.
Another one of these sponsor questions😅

Hi Kola!
The GDSim logo is a derivative of the logo for Godot Engine, so the rights correspond to the logo's license.

If CC BY 4.0 is permissible, then go ahead!
Thanks,

Good Game bro, have a very good feeling, can you tell me what program you use to the cars?
Thanks! I'm not sure what you mean. I used Wings3D to model these cars, although I prefer Metasequoia since then.

Ummmm....
This dosen't work on mac
It says "‘GDSim’ cannot be opened because it is corrupted. You should move the item to the Recycle Bin."
How can i do this game in mac

Hello Wolfe!
I was wondering if you could explain the engine heat system for me. At first, me and Kimvumpalu thought that the meter showed the tire temperatures😅. But I have a few questions for you:
-How does the game calculate the engine heat?
-How does the heat affect the car/drivability?
I hope you are having a good day!
Yours,
Kola4z
